I couldn't help but laugh when I heard Max's story.
Max is a 22 year old man from Madison, Mississippi. He has been an Ear Stickers regular for several months.
One night, Max hosted friends for an alcohol and DoorDash'd McDonald's-fueled viewing of a UFC event.
The wrappers are scattered throughout the table. The liquor is flowing. Then a comment is made that would eventually lead to a drastic change Max's appearance as he knows it.
A fighter, who will rename nameless, was called out by one of Max's friends for how massive his ears were. "Look how big his ears are!", Max's friend chirped. The group laughed hard at the fighter.
Intrigued by the concept of ear positioning, Max began doing research. He learned about otoplasty, and later found Ear Stickers.
While he had a good laugh at the expense of the UFC fighter, this experience brought Max to examine his own situation. While his case may not have been as severe, he wanted to see what Ear Stickers could do for him, so he gave it a shot.
Max was over the moon about his results. "I honestly couldn't believe I didn't notice this problem earlier, [be]cause it was basically hiding in plain sight", he wrote via email.
