As the founder of Ear Stickers, I've gotten the chance to know many customers. Most order for themselves, but we also have plenty of cases where folks order for their children who often have severe cases of ear protrusion.
Katie is a repeat shopper at earstickers.com, and I spoke with her about her son's experience.
She is the mother of two children, and lives outside of Charlotte, North Carolina. One of her children suffers from a case of "180" ears, which is to say they essentially aren't angled inward at all, and stick out at a 180 degree angle.
This is an issue that can often fly under the radar for parents. However, it is a cosmetic issue that prevents someone from achieving their best look.
Katie ordered for the first time in August 2025, just prior to her son's first day of high school, unbeknownst to him. Her son had clinically suffered from low self esteem due to a general dissatisfaction with his appearance.
When Katie offered the box to her son, he was "a bit confused but open to it", and tried it out. "He complained about mild discomfort in the first minute or two, but he told me it went away almost immediately."
Katie tells me that her son is in love with his new look and wears Ear Stickers daily without a complaint.
